New Terms Relating To Audio Files :L

Stereo - Stereophonic sound reproduction
Channel - A path for an electromagnetic signal

Track - a data-recording path on a storage medium, as a magnetic disk, tape, or drum, that is accessible to a read-write head in a given position as the medium moves past.
Frequency - the number of crests of a wave that move past a given point in a given unit of time.

Hertz - Unit of frequency equal to one cycle per second

Wav - A sound format created and used by Microsoft Windows
mp3 - A set of standards used to compress and download audio files from the internet, is also the file extension for MPEG Audio layer-3
aiff - audio interchange file format - developed by Apple Computing. Stores high quality digital audio and musical instrument information.
