-The Doctor is admiring himself in the mirror when he notices that something is terrible wrong…

D: I’m so cool, I’m so… wait a minute  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

-Harry is walking and sees the TARDIS-

H : What is this mysterious, flashy blue box? Have I stumbled upon the Ravenclaw common room?!

D : *NOOOOOOOOO!!* muffled

H : Whaaaa??! There’s someone trapped inside!  –Knocks on the door-

-The Doctor comes out of the TARDIS accompanied by lots of crashing noises as he trips over things-

D : What…!! Who’s there? -opens door- … ohhh… its you

H : How do you know who I am??? And who are you anyways!?

D : -pulls a newspaper out of nowhere- Don’t you read?? You’re all over the newspaper!

-          Zoom in on newspaper- *harrypotterharrypotterharrypotterharrypotter*

H : well… I am extremely popular... and handsome … - stares off into the distance- … you still haven’t answered my question… Who are you?

D : I’m The Doctor

H : The Doctor… Doctor Who?? That can’t be your name…

D : Excuse me! Don’t be so rude! How would you like it if I called you Potter Who??!

H : *pause* … ANYWAY, why are you here Doctor? Do you want my Autograph??

D : ummmm…. No. I’ve lost my bowtie, NO it was stolen!

R: oooo… nice bow tie

D: yes bow ties are cool

R: can I touch it…

D: *gives ron bow tie*

R: *stares at bow tie *

R: But harry you told me to get the bow tie for Hermione’s birthday

H: where is she anyway?

*in the distance * “ahhhhhhhh”

R: im sure shes fine.

D: *stares at ron* That Is So Cool, A ginger with a bow tie, I wish I was ginger.         

R: why thankyou

D: your welcome

H: what is this aren’t you supposed to be attacking him I demand a cage fight right now ! do what I say...  im harry potter. * lightning effect*

D: that it is ginger one, that it is. Would you like to come to my place, well its not a place, well it is a place, actually it’s a whole different universe… so would you like to come… for a party... at my place.

On the weekend, two of my friends (Kate Flower-Donaldson and Katie Martin) came over and helped me to record my video. My sister also helped by holding up our set. After the recording was finnished, I transferred the videos onto my computer so that they could be edited. I do have windows live movie maker on my computer, but when i tried to put the videos onto the program it didn't work and the program closed itself. But luckily I had another video editing software on my computer and I used that to edit the video. I think the software is called IVOS Video Editer. Kate helped me to get the hang of editing the first part, and  did the rest. After playing back the video after all unneccary parts were deleted, I noticed that the voices sound really weired, so after doing some experimenting, I found out how to change the pitch of the voices to make them a bit deeper. I would also like to add in some sound effects, but im not sure where i can leagally get them from without breaking copyright laws. Thats all for now... ill post the finnished and edited video soon. :D

The video that I am going to make is titled 'Potter Who? - The Bow Tie.' The purpose of this video is to provide entertainment and maybe even a laugh for those who watch Doctor Who and Harry potter. I finnished making my first puppet for my video a long time ago... but here is photo of what it looks like. I havent been able to make any more recently because I dont have enough time between homework and household chores.

 I have also done some sketches for the storyboard and i will scan these onto the computer later.

I don't actually have a phone.. so I am using the IPhone4 as my example.
To transfer a video from an IPhone I think you will need to have ITunes accessible on the computer, and use the standard USB cord compatible with the Apple software.

What are some advantages of digital video

There are many advantages of digital video over analogue. These include:

• Digital video can be edited much more easily than analogue videos

Are all videos/movies the same frame rate, explain your answer

Not all videos and movies have the same frame rate. This is evident through some of the movies have very 'smooth' moving figures, while others seem jumpy. The 'smooth' videos have more pictures per second, this makes the images flow into eachother, and seem more lifelike. The 'jumpy' videos are that way because they have less images per second and they do not properly flow together.

The video standards PAL (Phase Alternating Line), NTSC (National Television System Committee) and SECAM (Sequential Couleur Avec Memorie) are all used to view video prorams. PAL standards are only used in Western Europe and Australia. NTSC standards are only used in America and Canada. SECAM standards are only used in Eastern Europe and France. Each of these standards are incompatible with eachother. This means, if you were to go to Eastern Europe and record a program that is running on their televisions, and try to play it here, in Australia, it simply would not work.

I have been thinking about what to do for the video... and i think im going to do a puppet show with Harry Potter and Doctor Who combined. On the weekend im going to buy some fabric to make the puppets... i hope they're not too hard to make! I was invited into a group with Melody and Naykur, but i would rather do the puppets. Here's a preview of what I would like the puppets to look like...
